What does a typical new patient visit consist of? +
It starts with an hour long, face-to-face consult with Julie, reviewing much of your health and lifestyle. After much discussion, bloodwork is typically drawn, which consists of multiple lab tests to determine what each patient needs. A follow up visit is then scheduled to discuss all the results and determine the best plan of action.
What days is EBW open in each location? +
New Castle is open Tuesdays and Fridays each week and Grand Junction is every other Wednesday.
What financial assistance is available to patients who need it? +
Elevated Balance Wellness has partnered with CHERRY to help provide affordable, interest-free financing for patients without an invasive hard credit check. You can access CHERRY through the link on the EBW website.
Can I use Julie, NP, as my PCP? +
YES! EBW provider, Julie, NP, is a Family Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. This means that she can serve as your PCP for you and your family, including yearly exams, sports physicals, prescribing and refilling prescriptions, ordering labs, ordering imaging and provider referrals.
Why does Elevated Balance Wellness not accept insurance? +
EBW strives to provide the BEST care for each patient. This includes booking adequate time for each patient for their appointment, whatever it may be for. It also includes practicing the freedom to dial in what lab work, imaging and treatments that are specific to each patient as an individual. We could not do this if insurance was reimbursing for services. EBW can, however, provide a complete office note for which patients can submit to insurance for possible reimbursement.
